Lithium Manganese Dioxide Battery (Li-MnO2 battery) has two different types, cylindrical type and Soft flat type. It is a high-reliability and lightweight battery with an operating voltage of 3V. And it has the ability to operate over a wide temperature range. It has a wide range of applications, both for powering devices, security equipment and can be used in all types of electronic devices.
Principle and Reactions:
The positive active material of Li-MnO2 batteries is Manganese Dioxide (MnO2) while negative active material is Lithium (Li).
Positive reaction: MnO2 + Li+ + e- → MnO2Li
Negative reaction: Li → Li+ + e-
Total reaction: MnO2 + Li → MnO2Li
Use warnings:
This battery is a non-rechargeable battery.
DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY!
Do not use if the battery casing is damaged.
Please discharge the battery for a few minutes with 100mA.
Don't use different models of battery in series.
Do not continue to use the battery if abnormal heat release or leakage occur.
Do not deform batteries. Batteries are not to be crushed, drilled into or damaged in any other way. This can lead to toxic material or gas leakage and/or violent rupture.
