SER develops high temperature MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries
To expand business scope, SER GROUP Ltd. has developed a lithium battery pack for petroleum measurement while drilling. The battery consists of LiSOCL2 battery cells and is a power-type disposable battery pack with corresponding instrument connectors and dual-safety design. It has specific characteristics of high temperature resistance, stable performance, and safe use, and has been successfully sold to the international petrochemical market.
As a special battery, MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries have the following advantages:
High energy density: MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries are assembled by LiSOCL2 battery, which have high energy density features, which means that more electrical energy can be stored within a given volume. This makes MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries advantageous in portable devices, as they typically require smaller battery sizes to maintain long usage times.
Long life: As a special kind of LiSOCL2 battery, MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries have a relatively long lifespan and can provide continuous and stable power output. This means that in long-term use, MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries can maintain the normal operation of the device without the need for frequent battery replacement.
High safety: MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries use a special chemical system and have high safety characteristics. They do not produce flammable or explosive gases, nor do they release harmful substances. This makes MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries highly safe in various applications.
Wide temperature range: as a high temperature battery pack, MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries can be used in a wide temperature range. This means that under extreme temperature conditions, MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries can still work normally without being affected by temperature. there are 125℃,165℃,200℃,even 250℃ type.
Stable discharge voltage: The discharge voltage of MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries is relatively stable, providing stable power output. This enables the device to maintain stable performance during use, without being affected by voltage fluctuations.
High current discharge capability: MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries have high current discharge capability and can provide a large amount of power in a short period of time. This makes MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries excellent in applications that require a large amount of energy in a short period of time, such as in medical equipment, industrial equipment, and aerospace.
In summary, MWD(Measure While Drilling) batteries have advantages such as high energy density, long life, high safety, wide temperature range, smooth discharge voltage, and high current discharge capability, making them outstanding in various applications.
